Gene therapy - prospective technology assessment in its social context 1st - 8th of May 2005
The Research Group Bioethics and Science Communication at the Max-Delbrueck-Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) conducted the International Workshop - Prospective Technology Assesment in its Social Context. On a interdisciplinary perspective a group of European young scientists had to deal with the impact of biomedical innovation on society, specifically gene therapy, and make transparent options for political decision-making. The workshop was funded by the the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
